The Adhan
Never Stops.
Somewhere on Earth, at every moment of every day, a mosque is calling the Islamic prayer. AdhanLive makes that continuous, planetary reality visible.
A living map of Islamic worship
AdhanLive is a real-time visualization of the Islamic call to prayer sweeping across Earth. It maps mosques across 150+ countries, calculating each mosque's prayer time using established Islamic prayer calculation methods. When a mosque's prayer time arrives, its dot lights up on the globe in the color of that prayer.
The result is a living map, updated every second, showing where on Earth the Adhan is being called right now.
A statement with no proof
Around ten years ago, I came across a statement that stopped me: the Adhan is happening somewhere on Earth every single second. It was written as a fact, quietly, with no proof attached. No map. No data. No way to see it.
That statement stayed with me. Was it really true? What would it actually look like if you could see it? The only way to know was through data. Because data alone can confirm what words only claim.
That curiosity became AdhanLive.
on one map, in real time.
280,621 is not the destination.
It is the beginning.
Built on Islamic scholarship
Each mosque in the database has an exact location. Prayer times are calculated using adhan.js, a trusted open-source Islamic prayer time library. Each region uses the calculation method recognised by its local Islamic authority.
Mosque data
Mosque locations are sourced from OpenStreetMap contributors worldwide, a global community effort to map the world openly and freely.
Disclaimer
Prayer times on AdhanLive are calculated for visualization purposes using established Islamic calculation methods. For confirmed local prayer times, please refer to your local mosque or Islamic authority.
Built with purpose
